International Journal of Community Needs Assessments

The International Journal of Community Needs Assessments (IJCNA) is a monthly peer-reviewed open access journal. The journal publishes research articles focusing on conducting needs assessments that helps to understand specific populations. The aim of these assessments should be to inform public health research and practice, especially to bridge gaps between community needs and public health interventions. Researchers may employ any methodology to conduct their assessments, but articles focusing on mixed-methods and qualitative approaches will be prioritized in order to gain in-depth insight from the voices of community members directly to inform public health work.

The aim of IJPHK is to publish scholarly research that is informative for public health academics, researchers, and practitioners that work in different aspects of public health, and to promote uptake of cross-sector knowledge sharing as part of coordinated global efforts to strengthen and improve population health outcomes.
